Many imported Asian beers are much sweeter in taste and smoother than most Western style brews. I personally prefer lager or ale, Dutch or German brewed, but an occasional Asahi or Tsingtao is quite enjoyable because they are so smooth. Most light beer is just beer with a lot of water, which is fine if you don't mind drinking all that water with your beer.

So, if your looking to try a brew that is less bitter and even a little sweet, i would recommend Tsingtao.

    • Quite right! And Tsingtao, from China, is very nice, especially with Chinese food.
