That's wrong. The only difference is the concentration -- and the manufacturer charges far more for the weaker cat product.

Yes, the concentration of one of the ingredients is weaker, but it is the dog formula that is very slightly weaker in the amount of Methoprene. The cat formula has 11.8% and the dog formula has 8.8%.
The other ingredient, Fipronil, is exactly the same 9.8%. When using the dog formula, just give the normal amount you would give a cat, .5ml. Anyone making comments or answering questions about a specific product should, at least, have a clue what it says on the label.

The problem is, cats clean themselves. Dogs don't. So the chemical composition needs to reflect that fact. Cats will also wash each other. (to Gary - anyone making comments or answering questions about a specific product should also, at least have a clue about the habits of the one it is used on.)
