I'm 16 and I just got a promotion. I now have to work from 6AM to 2PM. Now here's the catch. My parents won't let me drive to work. And it's not even 4 miles away! What do I do? (I have my license)

  • Is there someone at work that you can catch a ride with. Is there safe public transportation available? Did you ask your parents what concerns they had about you driving to work. Maybe you can work out a compromise.

    • No. No. Yes, they think I'm a bad driver just because I don't drive that much. I ride the school bus to school, and my parents think my friends are bad so they won't let me hang out with them, so basically the only place I have to drive to is my work. Help me...

    • It is hard to be a 16 year old
But it is also hard to be a parent of a 16 year old
I agree with Namaste, you need to compromise
Something that is wrong is not made right
By the fact that other people do it.
