Which type of horse racing carries the highest risk of the jockey falling off his horse?

    My guess, of all the organized, European-based horse races, would be steeple-chase, although I don't have any stats to provide.

    Other horse racing, for example, African or Asian desert type races, I can't comment on.

    • FWIW, I think you're absolutely right. I love steeplechases, but it is *very* common for jockeys not to complete a course.
