What is the best software firewall for a personal PC running win XP pro with avg free and spybot s&d and 512MB ram, for under $30.00?

When I'm in outlook I recieve a e-mail that has a link attached and when I click on it - it says this opperation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer - THis is new and I security as an option does not show up under tools

If i turn the firewall on xp off, can i get access to websites that were blocked before? (I know how to do that, and i know that its not safe.)

I agree. I'm using ZAPro after using sygate pro, black ice, Norton's. ZA's a much better product. (not as resource hungry and not as many 'holes' as the other three.

Zone alarm is good when it works properly. It can be a realy pain to troubleshoot. The best personal firewall is a router (though it isn't software). Good answer though.

The only problem I have with it is that Firefox and ZoneAlarm DO NOT MIX!! (at least on my pc). It froze like once every two seconds when I used it.
