Sitting Bull (Hunkpapa Lakota) was the leader of the Indian forces (Lakota, Souix, Cheyenne, and Crow)that fought at the Battle of Little Big Horn (Battle of the Greasy Grass to Native Americans), but was a non-combatant. Crazy Horse (Oglala Lakota)led the Lakota into battle and his force is believed to be the primary one that overwhelmed the calvary. The 7th Calvary (US Army) was led by General George Armstrong Custer.
