It was years ago, but I did see a big, strong black man wearing a woman's "power suit". Miniskirt included. It may have been the highlight of my day.
What can cross-dressing in men signify?

my friend wants me to wear a dress to dinner, with high heels and pantyhose... should I do this for her? I should mention I am a man...

You're reading How many men wear short skirts, pantyhose, and high heels publicly as a man, like I do? Who has seen a guy like me out and about?

I know that I make many people's day when I'm out. I've also found that people are a lot more talkative with me when I'm in a skirt and heels as opposed to pants.

That guy had 3 girls with him. The kind of men I see usually wear T-shirts and jeans, sometimes with caps (thanks in part to a shop in the nearby mall that sells those boring things). Even a guy in a man's business suit would be interesting compared to them. And people here are generally more narrow-minded than what is seen as the national average. So anyone who dresses apart from the normal is seen as brave, in my eyes. But oddly enough, they are the only ones I'd consider talking to. People who try to look like everybody else can stay inside the box. I'll be happy, looking around outside the box.

The men's fashion box is so incredibly boring. I couldn't help but get out of it. Fortunately for me my wife is OK with it.

It would have been the highlight of mine, LOL.

I agree that the men's fashion box is boring. For myself, perhaps the best part of being a woman is that I get a variety of styles to play with. It's a travesty that many women don't feel the same.

Well both genders should wear what they want. That is also choosing not to feel because one is female they must follow fashions that are not comfortable to them. Not all women want to spend a large percentage of their income on clothes.
