Drop all Galactica references, make it a new series, then I can accept it - would not watch it though. But it has nothing in common with the old one.

I think it sucks terribly. I endured two seasons and it only got worse and worse. But that is not my point, tastes are different. My point is it has nothing to do with the original galactica saga. They stole a few names and warped something entirely different around it.

I know and that's what makes it better.
The Cylons are badder assed with their machine gun arms
and the human Cylons have to go to Resurrection Ships in order
to be reborn -- pretty macabre stuff there. I like the acting a lot too. Cylon fighters look a lot better too. At least they're not using lasers -- they're keeping it real that way.

If you look for "real" you are always wrong in TV anway. "Real" is only delivered by hard scifi like Asimov or Heinlein.

the Battlestart Galactica remake didn't COMPLETELY ruin the franchise, caprica helped (sorta held it's arms or something)
