What is the best way to find the centre of a circle, using only the simplest tools?

    Draw a tangent to the circle(you can do it by a scale, a pencil and simple observation) at any point on it. Draw a normal to this tangent. The normal to any tangent of a circle passes through the centre of the circle. So it is the diameter and it's centre gives the centre of the circle
