Help answer this question below.

Is it legal for someone who takes methadone for (analgesic) pain relief to drive and work in an industrial setting after taking this med for about 5 yrs @30 mg/daily for chronic lower back pain?

    As long as it is doctor prescribed, it is legal. As to if it is wise, the one taking it is the only one that knows how they react to it.

I had given that information to my employer when I went for my pre employment drug screen, and I have done my job without incident for many many years .It was only after confiding in a co-worker that this became an issue ,apparently in spite of my clean record ,they took what this person said , added the Heroin stigma with it , now I must get my doctors release to the same job I have done for years..it seems that the person with the leaky mouth should be reprimanded as they are sharing sensitive information about someone and something they know nothing about...
