Has anyone read the series by George R.R. Martin about Fire and Ice? What did you think?

    I really like the intrigue in it and the realistically selfish characters. I think it's a bit long, though, and the new book is taking too long to come out, so expect to be waiting a while until you can finish the whole series.

    • I agree, he needs to focus on the new book to complete the series instead of writing in other series.

    • Yes, and I also didn't like the format of the last book. I thought he should still have covered all of the characters, just over a shoter period of time, instead of separating the character POVs into 2 books.

    • Agreed. I was very disappointed that it took him about 5 years to write the 4th book. I was happy he did though, because that was a terrible ending to a trilogy if he hadn't.

    • Of course--Danerys' storyline has not yet been resolved. And Cersei should die (imho)
