Help answer this question below.

My ipod touch, that i just received, won't work. When I turn it on, the screen lights up with the plugin thing and the itunes symbol. How can i fix this so i can get to the actual screen.

    did you check to see that the hold switch is not in the hold position? thats all i can think of it wont turn on if the hold is on
