How can I cancel a money order if the "payable to" field is filled out, but it has not been sent?

    Often the place that you purchased the money order will refund it for you (for a slight fee). Otherwise it may be possible to cross out the info on it and fill it out to yourself or a friend (be sure to initial on both sides of the crossed out information) then deposited into your or your friends account.
    Another option if crossing out the information seems feesable is to then send it to your utility or phone bill and the will give you credit for it.
    If you can't cross out the info. and the store you bought it from will not refund it for you then you may be at a loss. Sorry )-;
