Men, do you own a man bag? ( as in hand bag) if not, why not?

    No, I never had a need for one. I like to be unhindered by luggage (or rather lack of luggage). If I have to carry more than my pockets will hold or it is one of the rare occasions I'm wearing some stuckup business suit with no pockets, I'll carry a backpack or duffle bag. My dad had a sacoche for a while way back in the late 80s I think, but he must have realized it was frowned upon by Americans and stopped using them. It isn't even common in Europe anymore now...

    • Well, laptop and some gadgets go in the backpack. But "ipod", phone, pda, and gps are one unit and share one pocket with bluetooth stereo headset. I have knives, lighters/torches, gum, and a bunch of thumb drives and random stuff in another pocket and then all that remains are keys and wallet which go in the remaining pockets... I don't use the back pockets because of the (already mentioned in this thread) problem of discomfort.

    • I seriously dont believe that !!! just how big are your pockets???, they must be uncomfortable when you have to sit down !!! :)

      The only time I had any problem fitting in a seat was the last time I went gokarting (long time ago) and I just moved the wallet and keys from hip pockets to knee pockets. If I was skinnier, it wouldn't be a problem though.
