My 2000 Detroit series 60 is having an intermittent power problem. It loses power and the check engine,stop engine,low coolant lights all come on. It feels like you just shut off the key switch,but it just goes to an idle and does not di

    The low coolant sensors on those earlier Detroits WILL shut down the whole show, even if your coolant is just a tiny bit low. Get a good Detroit mechanic to show you how to bypass that sensor.
