Obama, his own original "birther", claimed Kenyan birth for 16 years. Why do libs throw name-calling fits when you show them that?

You're reading How do you feel about feminists?
Comments
People are rating you down because it is a very narrow-minded and ignorant opinion. What exactly have feminists done to make you think they are 'out of control'?
by Halskiisaklink on January 3rd, 2007
I pretty much agree with you, so I'm uprating you, not downrating. Not all feminists take things too far though...Just some of the ones I've seen are really bad.
by Castrate on January 3rd, 2007
Tell me what these people have done.
by Halskiisaklink on January 3rd, 2007
Because I have a very narrow-minded and ignorant opinion? How about because I know what I believe, and I stick to it. I don't change my opinion all the time. You think feminism is good. I think it is bad. We each have our own opinions of equal value. They are just different. What ever happened to the tolerance of other people's opinions everybody always screams and whines about?
by msummers10 on January 3rd, 2007
It's not good to have an everlasting, unchanging opinion. It's a sign of ignorance, not being able to adapt. It's certainly nothing to be proud of. AND PLEASE tell me what these people have done to make you think they've gone too far! This is the third time I've asked!
by Halskiisaklink on January 3rd, 2007
Well, like holding up signs saying, "women rule, men drool"...I saw some feminists holding a sign that said, "when black women vote, they win"...I'm not kidding. Those are just some examples of feminism gone bad that I see a lot.
by Castrate on January 3rd, 2007
I think "when black women vote, they win." is probably a reference to the fact that by the action of voting a black woman has a small victory because it represents overcoming years of opression against both women and black people, rather than a reference to black women only voting for other black women (which may or may not be the case)

Then these people aren't feminist, are they? So feminism at large can't be blamed or, as you correctly admitted, said to be 'going out of control'. What's wrong with wanting black women to get in office? They are the most underrepresented group in the African-American and European political demographic.

Well, the most common racism I have seen lately, is racism against white males...White males get it the worst in this country, I think. (this country being America)
by Castrate on January 3rd, 2007
That's just your perspective. The gap between the rich and the poor in your country proportionately discriminates more against Blacks than anyone else. That is reflective on ongoing anti-black racism.
by Halskiisaklink on January 3rd, 2007
And that's just YOUR perspective...I'm sure there are other people who would agree with me too ya know...
by Castrate on January 3rd, 2007
'Race' being a social construct doesn't rule out using the word racist. People still discriminate based on what they see as race.
by Halskiisaklink on January 3rd, 2007
I agree, it doesn't, but it has basis in society.
by Halskiisaklink on January 3rd, 2007
Ok, just don't brush off racism so easily.
