Is my man cheating if he is looking at porn websites when we don't use porn in our relationship, saying he's downloading it for a friend?

Porn isn't about imagining yourself with someone else - it allows guys to sample blondes, brunettes, gingers...it's like window shopping. I wouldn't consider it as cheating.

He may have been doing it for you also; the main reason 99% of men (well, from what I've heard) watch it is to find out exactly what turns a woman on.

ALL guys (don't deny it!) love porn, it's nothing weird or unusual. I say give him a chance & let it go, as most men do it anyways!

    • All guys love to see women humiliated and displayed as a THING to be used by men? Sometimes there is rape and degradation not to mention whole sites dedicated to cumming in women's faces! If porn was about sex with normal healthy people in loving relationships I could see that there would be things to learn that you might want to try. Lets face it men watch porn for the titillation and the opportunity to vent both their anger against women and their wish to control and demean them in a public way.

    • AlienInAStrangeLand does have a point. Porn is not always realistic.

    • So whats your take on girls that like rape porn....say...like me? i have more porn then most of the guys i know. Rape porn, sleep porn, amateur porn, a movie called edward penis hands, japanese porn...the list goes on and on. stop being so naive. lots of girls enjoy porn just as much as men. leave the moral objections to the women in the industry...they obviously know way more about it then you do.

    • I would say that it is not always realistic because I would guess that the sites are trying to appeal to a person's fantasy, whatever that may be. I don't think that it is about "the titillation and the opportunity to vent both their anger against women and their wish to control and demean them in a public way." as alieninastrangeland put it.

    • What made me laugh was... DISNEY movies aren't even about "normal healthy people in loving relationships". Nor are the eight BILLION romance novels that women seem to gobble up like Twinkies.
      .
No one wants to spend their time reading about "normal, healthy" relationships. It CERTAINLY doesn't appeal to anyone's fantasies the way Porn or Harlequin are meant to.
      .
Besides, anyone who's under the impression that the woman in the porn video is always the controlled or submissive member hasn't seen much porn ^_^
