Who killed John Lennon? What was the killer's motive?

    The killer's name was Mark David Chapman, and he was suffering from delusions at the time. He says that right before the murder he heard voices in his head commanding him to " do it, do it, do it." Here's a Courttv link on the case. http://www.crimelibrary.com/classics4/chapman/

    By the way, there are all sorts of conspiracy theories that others put him up to it, including Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono, and Ronald Reagan, among others.
