I agree as well, but be prepared. He might be gay; he might not. He might fall anywhere on the sexual continuum. If you want a happy, healthy son, talk to him and let him know you love him and that being gay is not a crime, sickness, etc. It's merely the way some people are.
Of course, I have to wonder if you yourself are the 14 yr old boy pretending to be a parent in order to get some reassurance. Even if you are, it's ok.Sexuality is complex and takes some time to develop, in most, tho not all, cases. Be open to who you are.. or if you really are the parent, be open to who your son is.
