    Depends whether the cloth mean less energy waste in the long run. For instance, disposable diapers are very nice but they fill up landfills, not good. And cloth diapers don't do that but y9ou need to wash them and use water and soaps. Will those pollute or use more energy?

    Maybe tablecloths are one idea where it may be better to dispose of them. They aren't like toxic waste and it takes so much water to wash them.
