Bread machine yeast contains Sorbitan Monostearate & Ascorbic Acid. Is it OK to use it for hand -made bread?

    Actually adding the Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is a great thing. I sometimes will crush a tab let and add half of it to my dough. It really helps the rising. It is the one allowed additive to bread dough in France.
