Help answer this question below.

How old do you have to be to get a" tubal ligation" in the state of California? I'm 19 with two children and I'm 100% positive that I no longer want any more children.

    I don't know about in the state of Cali BUT I will give you a tiny bit of advice. When I was 23 I had a tubal ligation - One Child, never married and in good health. I went into my doctors office and insisted he give me a Tubal Ligation surgery. Well, he read off a whole bunch of things he was to ask me and I cut him of in mid sentence and said "Look doc, The reason I want this done is because I see no purpose for a kid none what so ever." He looked up at me and said - OK Thursday Morning at 9:00 AM. A few years passed and after dealing with all the losers I dealt with I was glad I had gotten the tubal - Then I met the perfect guy. He had no kids and was better than wonderful with mine. I sat back and knew that I had screwed up with getting that damned Tubal done. Well, there was nothing I could do - that's BIG money to get it reversed and even then your not guaranteed to have children so I now live with that fact forever. If I were you I would wait. I don't know if you have been dealt a bad hand but whatever your reason - I would think about this a bit longer.

    Todays issues don't always bleed into tomorrow.

    • I'm responding to Lord Knows i thank you and agree with you 100% about how you finally met that great guy but my daughter is currently 15yrs of age and having another child for me personally is not in my futuristic plans. Compromising having another child will be the only thing that I will not be will to do even if he is greater than great. At this point in my life its about me and when that great guy comes along it will be about us and in the beginning that issue will be addressed so no feelings will be hurt--i just don't want any more kids and I have learned when you are trying to make others happy and its not what you really want that becomes a regret on your part for the rest of your life so you are very right to ask yourself is this is what i really want because at the end of the day its all about you please don't make others unhappy.
