How much do you know about other religions? Which one religion you would like to know more?

I was raised as a catholic, I don't know much about the other religion. But I am fascinated in the religion called Wicca; I heard they do witchcraft and some rituals. I'm very curious about those stuffs, another religion which is kind a scary to me but I'm kind a curious also is Satanism, the opposite of Catholic. Isn't scary? But I'm kind a curious also. I have a strong faith to the lord, but still my curiosity bothers me.

There are different forms of satanism..And yes, some of it CAN be scary..Don't believe everything you hear about all satanists just being teen-aged atheists sitting in their moms basement, craving attention..

AntigoneRising..I'm surprised at you..I didn't think you would tell me I'm wrong, and not even tell me in what way..And yes, I have seen real satanists, and they can do some creepy things. You have obviously been talking to, and researching the atheists, who say, that satanists are just atheists, who worship themselves, or whatnot. Castrate is correct, not all Satanists are bad or scary, but just like Christians, Jews, Muslims, Pagans, etc, *some* are bad or evil.

Wicca is the witchcraft sect of Paganism, but not all that follow witchcraft are Wiccan. Witchcraft is not bad or evil, it is a way to concentrate the power within everyone to achieve a certain goal, just like some people meditate or pray for a certain outcome. That is a very basic explanation of general witchcraft, and yes there ARE those that class themselves as Christian Wiccans as they practice witchcraft but follow the teachings of Jesus.

Satanism is different than devil worship, Castrate, and the general media do not make the distinction. Neither does the general media make the distinction between Witchcraft and devil worship. I made my comment not because I disagree that such occult crimes exist, but that devil worship isn't the same as Satanism. I see too many issues with confusion of beliefs in the link you sent. Set, for example, is not Satan. He is an Egyptian god.

Well, the dictionary definition of satanism, is "the worship of Satan, or the powers of evil"..The definition of devil is, "the supreme spirit of evil, Satan." So technically, "real" satanism, is the worship of a devil/Satan...
