I grew up pretty much alone with a single mother 100 hrs. a week at the hospital. I also turned into a very grouchy sad person. Do you think it has something to do with my upbringing or am I just bad?

No you are not bad at all, and your surroundings when you were being bought up will have some effect on you later in life. But it is how you deal with the present not the past.

Im not saying all single mothers are like this. Why do some single mothers try to place all the blame on the father? Why did the mother sleep with the "Bad Boy" type in the first place. Maybe she is as much of a peice of trash as the father is.
