Why is it better to wash pots and pans with hot water?

    It's better to wash ANYTHING with hot water.

    Hot water helps break up food particles to wash them away. Also, hot water helps "kill" bacteria and eliminate germs.

    Short answer, but I hope it helps.

    • Hot water that is comfortable for washing dishes is not hot enough to kill bacteria.
