I would love it if everybody realized why women cannot always cover up thier babies faces with a blanket, most babies hate this (as would I) and many new moms Really need to see a baby latch on in order to be able to breastfeed properly. A mother should not have to go to a place like a bathroom (which is very unsanitary) in order to feed her child, just as you should not have to go to the bathroom in order to drink anything.

Very true. I also hope the people who want mothers to be 'discreet' about it see this.

I breast fed my baby from the start and I did it at home and in public my son never had a problem with a cloth diaper or blanket over his face I draped it over my shoulder and over him completely so he was not uncomfortable I checked to see if he was in the right place but never showed my breast in public. I was very modest but I knew that mothers milk was best so I got over my fears and did what was best now I did usually go to the car or another room out of most peoples view.
