What's a quick remedy for "onion eyes"?

    Wear glasses while you cut onions. This may reduce the impact fumes released while cutting the onions.

    • Wearing glasses did not help. My eyes are still burning since i chopped them up this morning after an hour. Real potent onions, them. I usually have my contacts on but I forgot to clean them last nite. oh well. Candles help if u light it before you start cutting.
