Question

Help answer this question below.

Whenever I try to sleep, I get intense feelings of fear and have had several panic attacks. I think about dying and how afaid I am of it. I saw a therapist for a bit but we did not touch on these issues - should I go back and try to get help/medication?

yeah, the same thing happens to me. what i do is distract myself. i know it sounds weird, but i think up little stories in my head.

having said that, if a panic attack is inevitable, close your eyes, breathe deeply and recite a mantra to yourself (it's ok it's ok for example) and think about something else. i sometimes pray, or think up a little story - my imagination has become fantastic over the years because of this ha ha.
