Question

Help answer this question below.

According to Christianity, must one be Christian to go to heaven? If so, are you telling me Buddha went to hell? If not, will a nice, kindhearted, honest, hard-working atheist have a better chance of getting into heaven than an aggressive, mean Christian?

Buddha was a peaceful atheist. I cannot, though I have a damn good idea of where you are going, predict the will of God or the extent of his Mercy. Agressive and mean are all words you are using to describe a christian, a very dedicated and highly respected member of the community, who dedicates his life to Christ. In following the Bible, it is the responsiblity of all christians to spread the rule of God, to spread the will of salvation, and to pray for people who do not believe, as I will Do for you tonight Elitheeli. Kindhearted and nice in the will of God is accepting his existence, something that you sadly do not do. Only God can decide who goes to heaven or hell, but in his words if you make no effort to believe in the holy scripture, you will be spared no effort in the afterlife (which does exist by the way). Please feel free to demeaningly rate this answer, as you have done my others, but I must say that God is the best path to follow, nomatter what.
(To ELITHEELI or any others, please note that this answer is biased toward a christain viewpoint, use your own views to judge for yourself the meaning of life. Any atheist out their, please take time to discover for yourself your own religious pretenses and disregard this is you find it irrelevant. Thanks, Vincent)

    • yes, that's because you stumbled across one of millions of flaws in Christianity...that can't be done, so the action of recourse is to be defensive, and resort to personal attacks to defend a floundering and totally immoral faith

    • no matter how nice or how non civil you are any positive answer about GOD or JESUS will get down rated, so take no defense and just be thankful for what you believe in, only trying to help out, I am sorry if I stepped on your toes, but this is what I have seen most atheist and non believers do, there are way more than what I ever expected since I joined A B

You are reading an attack that is not there. All he is saying is that some Christians show all the signs of agression, meanness and other qualities usually considered less than Christian.
