How did Giada de Laurentis and Sandra Lee get on the Food Network? Why are they still there?

That truly is a good question how such an amateur line-cook such as Sandra Lee got a job making sub-par recipes. Well there are people with all sorts of tastes out there I suppose. I can't comment on the other one though. Sandra Lee's overly cheerful demeanor also annoys the hell out of me too.
