My controller doesn’t vibrate in my PS2 but when I plug it into another PS2, it works. Is this a problem I can fix myself?

Probably not, but here's one thing to try: borrow another controller, and try it in your PS2. If that controller doesn't vibrate either, there's something wrong with your PS2, or someone turned off the vibration setting for that particular game on your system (check the Options menu to make sure vibration is turned on for your system.)

If you can't get any controller to vibrate on your system, it probably needs professional repair.
