I'll say lack of fun haha but really experience.

My sister and I were always very mature for our age, because growing up, before our brothers were born, our father was in and out of the hospital suffering from cancer, and our mom worked from 6 am until 5 pm. So not only did we have to be strong for our mom, but we had to get ready for school by ourselves, and walk to and from school by ourselves.

So keeping in mind we were in 2nd and 4th grade, and when you think that most 10 year olds don't even have an alarm clock in thier room, and their moms wake them up and lay out thier clothes for them and everything, that built some strong character in us.

Also, my Grandma is 82, and shes the single most immature person i know. So i don't think it comes with age, if you consider that as people get into thier senior years they become more and more stuborn.
