What was the highest speed ever attained by the USS Enterprise, and which episode did this occur?

    According to one episode of ST:Voyager, there was a Sound Barrier-like plateau when speeds approached Warp 10. I remember one of the Q episodes of ST:The Next Generation where the Enterprise was being chased by a Borg Cube, and pushed its engines to something like Warp 9.8... but this could be a couple of digits off in either direction. Definitely nine point something. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but I'm relaying what I remember.
