If it is not authenticated then it is actually worth less than the non-autographed card! Amazing, but true. There are so many forged autographed cards out there that it is imperative to get an authenticated autograph. Even with authentication, a Guy Lafleur autograph is probably $10 or less. I have many many autographed and memorabilia cards that are worth more to me than the little amount of money I can sell them for.
