You're reading Do plants grow better when talked to, or when music is played?
Comments
I agree to some of what was said, however, there has been some scientific studies done concerning weather or not music does influence plant and animal life. Let me share some scientific data I have found given to me from a college professor. In one scienticfic study, rock and heavy metal music was played to one group of plants, the results were the plants grew abnormally tall and within two weeks, many of the plants died. Write Denver, University of Colorado and see the report. Another group of plants was played Barouqe and Classical music, and they flurished, they even leaned towards the speaker like they lean towards light. J.S. Bach's music had the most impact. Infact the plants nearest to the speakers wrapped themselves around the speakers. Bach's music is concidered the most ORDERLY music in known history. Another study was done with mice. I do not recall who did the experiment. The first group of mice ran the maze and got a little better each time, with not music. A group with Strauss Waltzes,(which are very ORDERLY) got greatly better. The last group listened with heavy metal music, they got significantly worse. those mice gropped around and seemed disoriented. Another test given by some other people similar to the last test said they had to be stopped the test early because the mice listening to heavy metal and rock music started to kill each other. Let me finish with some qoutes give my Mik Jaggar of the Rolling Stones. "Our music is calculated to drive kids to sex..." In 1969 he said, " we are going after the minds of the young people of the world and so are most of the new groups" How many "new groups" have there been since 1969? There is much much more information about music. Maybe you don't want to read the next qoute. "We are moving after the minds of the young people of the world, to tell them that the world is a rotten place, that there is no hope, that they have to take, that there is not rules in life, our job hear is to take what we can take" Look up Dr. Micheal Ballam. He made some CD's called, "Music and the Mind" It is packed with information about music.
