Thank You!!!!!

A simple show of appreciation can make all the difference in the world. I thank you both.
by NotYourAvgPsycho on October 2nd, 2007
You are welcome.
by Bartman on October 2nd, 2007
Shouldn't you be dead? What's funny (sad?) is that you almost know for sure when someone talks like this that they haven't and wouldn't have the guts to even serve a day.
by Eponymous on October 4th, 2007
Eponymous, why not just crawl back under your rock. As far as him dying? He did that once also. Thankfully the Drs fought like hell to bring him back. Not only did he have the guts, but he spilled them as well. He served 9 years faithfully and loyally. How do I know? Because I was with him for 7 of them. So why don't you just go play in the traffic, you waste of fucking air.

Chill Bro. Don't even sweat it. Even jellyfish get to have an opinion.
by NotYourAvgPsycho on October 4th, 2007
Don't worry guys ;)
by Bartman on October 4th, 2007
NotYourAvgPsycho and Wolfen, let me just start off by saying you both have my eternal gratitude. You are heroes.
Eponymous, best if I just ignore you.
by P. W. Pasobrio loves Marines on October 5th, 2007
Thank you Ash & Pas. Let me apologize for having lost my temper. That is uncharacteristic of me and only occurs when idiots attack those that I love and respect. Jay-den (NYAP) is usually the one that goes ballistic, and I'm the one trying to rein him back in. @Eponymous: Nice Christian attitude you've displayed. Your actions defy your claim.
by Wolfen on October 5th, 2007
Thanks Dad! LOL!
by NotYourAvgPsycho on October 5th, 2007
You are both very welcome. You had every right o go off on him, Wolfen. In fact it's better that you did it then I did. His ass would have started out a hat and ended up his shoes.
Yeah, Eponymous, you just remeinded me why I left that faith.
by P. W. Pasobrio loves Marines on October 5th, 2007
I served in the military (US Army) and while I wasn't awarded the Purple Heart - I was given possession of the medal for people very close to me, who gave up their lives.
If you earned a Purple Heart, all due respect. I could give you shallow praise like everyone else, but validation on a website is just that...shallow praise.
I'm confident in my actions and service and in what my family has given up....to speak my mind on the issue. It's not out of disrespect for anyone on the shallow internet, but to avoid disrespecting real people where the water runs deep.
by Eponymous on October 6th, 2007
Regardless of anything that you may say, you had no right to attack me. There is no way to justify your actions. You don't know me and you know nothing about me. You made a judgment of me without asking me a single solitary question. In your mind, I was tried and convicted without a shred of evidence. I could return the favor and the amount of common courtesy that you have extended me, but I won't. I have matured enough to not let trivial things and people upset me. However, I must agree with Wolfen when he said, "Nice Christian attitude you've displayed". In closing, please know that I do not seek nor do I want your praise. Shallow or otherwise.
by NotYourAvgPsycho on October 6th, 2007
Nice judgemnet on the rest of us as well, Eponymous. I am not one to give shallow praise to anyone. When I tell someone thank you and other words of gratutude and respect it is a true statement. I am a Marine bride and my respect for those that have served runs deep.
by P. W. Pasobrio loves Marines on October 6th, 2007
Return the favor, please. I'm not looking for validation on a website. My family is career military going back three generations (maybe more), and we have given up more than one. My brothers and me have served.
Do you have a Purple Heart? (which is a Federal offense - a felony - if you lie about, so ignore me rather than lie) Cause if you do, I respect your service & sense of duty. I'm not going to respect everyone who says they have combat wounds on the internet though. Do you see the difference there? That was the point of my original post. There is a lot of BS out here, and the truth held to yourself is more valuable than a bunch of people on a website patting your virtual back.
Princess...it's all a matter of perspective. I don't think the internet has real depth, but you disagree. Fine. I believe real respect or real love has to come in person, and I try to reflect that. The internet is a great exchange of information & idea, but relations aren't even skin deep.
by Eponymous on October 6th, 2007
Nobody has to prove a damn thing to you, Eponymous. Nor do we have to show you respect after the way you've disrespected us. The fact that you need proof that he has a purple heart and then would make a threat like that just sickens me. That's conduct unbecoming if I ever saw it. You're looking for validation just s much as the rest of us just by being on here. So for you to come after us like that is total BS.
As for my feelings that's not just for those I know on the web, but for all who are willing to serve. I don't give a damn who they are or how I meet them.
by P. W. Pasobrio loves Marines on October 7th, 2007
I agree with Princess. If Eponymous had posted this answer, my comment would have been same. And his claim that we are shallow praising NotYourAvgPsycho. That is an insult to not only NotYourAvgPsycho but for me and Princess. I do not expect people who serve their nation to be so judgemental. Again I respect Eponymous's work for the nation, but I do not appreciate his behaviour here in this thread.

Thankyou very much NotYourAvgPsycho and Wolfen. I stopped reading when Eponymous really went off but I did read long enough to see that you two served together.

At one time without question and I to have been there, now there is so much going on that just doesn't add up. We attack to bring peace to the world and in many cases we are becoming as bad as the rest of them. Up front all the fluff and teddy bear love but the hate, violence, and destruction of fellow human beings.

Republicans, democrats can't come together for a better America, Greed, slavery, corruption is this what I'm willing to die for.
I would have to think long and hard before I take a bullet for this. Capt Jack thousands have sacrificed their lives for peace in the valley yet there is no peace in the valley only more blood shed. Why?
