If there is one thing you wish was never made what would it be and why?

    Cars

    I've traveled through Europe over the summer and it was a great feeling to ride a bike everywhere. Some towns had better shortcuts and more roads for bikes then for the automobile.

    I also miss the idea of public transportation. I don't mind the idea of buses or trains. That's those things helped give people a sense of community, which is missing nowadays. If you saw your neighbors outside walking around, riding bikes and so on, you'd probably trust your kids to be in the streets a little more.

    Also we wouldn't have all this oil and global warming scares. There would also be an obesity issue.

    The only thing I would say I LOVE about the automobile is that it helps keep my freezing butt warm in the winters.

    • did you hear of the vehicle that runs off of alf-alfa and hay? It can even refill it's own gas tank when not being used. It can last twice as long as a modern car, and is half the cost for a really good one. It is called a horse. More people should utilize these, I would if it were allowed to be kept in the city limits!

    • I too was in Europe this past summer. I walked everywhere and couldn't help but notice there were few fat people.
