You're reading 9/11 How long did it take for Bush to react after he was told that the first tower was hit by a plane? And how long after the second tower was hit?
Comments
To be fare, not many people knew it was a terrorist attack until the second plane hit and even then there was still doubts (I thought it could be an air controler error at first!) so I understand him continueing, plus by doing so he did not scare the kids!
+5 and welcome again :)

well, also in the movie Farenheit 9/11, they said Bush was already informed of Osama Bin Ladin planning a terrorist attack on the US. Bush, received the file and never did anything with it. I think the movie said "then he went on vacation". I think Bush knew what was happening when he found out the first plane struck.

Slothmister: i'm sure the world is so thankful for him to not have scared the kids

I doubt that, but ofc either of us could be correct. Face the facts that both the US and the UK (and dozens of other countries) are at an almost constant risk of terrorism. Also, it was more likely to be just an accident, planes crash very often whereas large scale terrorist attacks are very seldom!

Anyone dumb enough to believe anything from Michael Moore is dumb enough to believe anything.

i'm dumb enough to believe Michael Moore and then i check what if what he says is correct. I do the same with the CIA, Bush and his administration. Do you? Tell me one thing which Michael Moore said that is not true.
