Having sex at 13 years of age is absolutely way too young to be having sex! I don't care who blames who or whatever else is said why children have sex at such a young age. I am an extremely attractive, sexual female; and I waited until I was almost 20 years old and knew then what all the hype was about. I waited until I knew I was in love.
Even teens think they know at an early age that they are ready to have sex, because he or she loves Johnny or Jill so much. Well, I hate to burst their bubble, but all I have to say it SEX is not Love!! Children should be brought up to be kids as long as they can and allowed. Sex is an adult game with adult consequences if not careful.

I think people should just make the decisions for themselves. I know plenty of people who started having sex at a very young age and are more or less well-adjusted members of society. Just as long as you're wearing a decent brand of condom, you're pretty safe.

i think the same 13 is a very young age to experience sex.... think of it this way if it was your daughter will you tell her it's okay to experienced that?.... 13 yr old do not know wat love is and there is alot of consequences they will face such as getting pregnant and probably dropping out of school etc.... there too young they got a whole life ahead of them and sex should not be on their mind.

Instead of saying they CAN'T do it, shouldn't we also be teaching them if they DO want to do it, how to be safe. See the thing is children that age do it. Whether we want them to or not. And most parents will NEVER know or find out until the girl gets pregnant. Which could have probably been avoided if we as parents were more "open" concerning it. Just a thought!

Well, i lost my virginity at 12, i know that is WAYY to young but it just happened, i don't regret it, i jus wish i were a lil but older. But if a 13 yr old wants to have sex, let them. jus always know there are resonsibilitys if you get pregnant or get AIDS, STDS, or anything, you jus have to be ready for anything when you have sex.

I don't think any 13 year old needs to have sex. If your not ready for parenting don't have sex. for girls, sex isn't really all that great the 1st time or the 2nd or the 3rd. It kinda sucks so just don't make your life complicated.
