If you are rinsing your mouth after everything you put in your mouth (which I'm guessing you were informed to do) then it might be from the mouth wash. If you are using a mouth such as Oral B that does not contain alchol, that might be the reason. It's better to use such mouthwash as Oral B that doesn't contain alchol because kills the right germs and not all the germs because some of the germs actually help along the healing process.
If you are using this kind of mouth wash. WATER IT DONE! It might just be too strong for your body hense why your tongue is white!
If you are using a mouth wash with alchol maybe you should switch and if you aren't using mouth wash. USE IT!
If all else fails go back to the piercing shop you had it done at and I'm sure they will check it out for you.

You're reading I just got my tongue pierced four days ago it's still swollen and hard to eat and talk. I've been told this is normal but is it normal for my tongue to be white? My sister said that my tongue is really white and she thinks I have thrush, normal or no?
