Help answer this question below.

If you were to just paintball out in the woods with your friends, not speedball or anything, what gun would be better to get, the Smart Parts Ion, or the Tippman custom 98?

    i w0uld suggest a tippmann 98 custom or even a tippmann in general. i have owned and played with all including the ion and i found out that tippmann is much more durable and is cheaper in the long run. if you purchase the ion you will need to buy a hopper that will keep up with the gun, hpa tank and upgraded barrel. if you go with a tippmann the only thing you will need to worry about is refilling your co2 and buying paint. and of course you can always buy upgrades but the tippmanns that come stock are pretty acurate.( hint ) ebay is cheap and a good source for ideas!
