Absolute zero (-273 degrees Celsius) is the lower limit on temperature. Is there an upper limit?

    Absolute zero is the temperature where the pressure of a gas becomes zero (minimum), so it is the lower limit. As there is no maximum limit of the pressure, there is no upper limit for temperature.

    • Temp is kinetic energy of molecules/particles, therefore the absolute upper limit will be the speed of light...
