The autopsy showed that Jimmi NEVER shot anything. His drugs of choice were LSD and Smoke. He had been smoking and drinking and died same way as Momma Cass, choking on his own vomit.The fact that he was a heavy duty drug user is a fallacy and was proved to be totally unfactual

I was making a refernce from where I live...the States. The head shops used to sell acid all the time especially in the West Coast like California. If you want to look up his death here's the link.

Sorry that you have to paste in into your browser. To answer Bike's question...back then all the young people were starting to experiment with "freeing your mind" and "altered states of reality". They thought that it opened up a lot of doors for them spiritually. No one knew the ture dangers because the 50s was mainly a sheltered generation of kids.

I have to disagree with you Firebrand. Just because he didn't DIE from a heroin OD, doesn't mean that he didn't do it. I did heroin for many years but never overdosed. NNDB is a very reliable site. I thought that he did die from heroin, but he did OD on pills and choked on his own puke..you were right about that. I must have been thinking about Janis or someone else when I said that.

I must disagree with Snakelover... Jimi NEVER shot anything, he hated needles and would never "shoot" up anything.. dont believe me, just read a book about him, everyone who knew him said so...he did not die of Heroin, he died of by taking nine Vesperax sleeping pills and drinking wine, and than of asphyxiation. I have never read anything about him snorting cocaine, so, I cannot answer that, but to say, he was well know as to take hallucinogenic drugs mostly LSD and smoking pot....
