Question for the ladies whom have had the Mirena IUD, or other similar versions. What are your feelings about the IUD? Is it painful? Did you spot often? Did the hormones affect you? Any feed back good or bad would be appreciated. Thanks

  I have had the mirena ius for aprox.3 months now&they left the string long cuz they screwed up the1st time&now4 some odd reason its short when i check it,it wasnt short last month.should i be concerned?the ius can move you know.

  I had my copper IUD fitted two days ago on day 4 of my period. I cramped for the rest of the day but have been fine since. I haven't bled anymore then I usually would in a period? Is this normal? I expected to bleed alot after insertion.
