What are your thoughts???...see description

I have been unemployed since Oct 2010, tomorrow I am supposed to start a new job, I will be working in the same company my mom works at but in a different building. I told my potenial employers i would give job a try since it is different from anything i have ever done before. I have been DREADING going to new job this whole weekend and I told the interviewers that I would think about position over weekend and IF I decided not to take job call them by Monday. I have a 22 month old daughter and I was hoping that I could start work when she was talking in full sentences. I was telling my mum that I would feel so hurt if she, or my hubby calls me to work to tell me that my daughter spoke a full sentence and I MISSED it. My mum tells me to not worry about this, but I do, I just hate to be left out. I am hoping that something happens either with the nanny or the job so that I DO NOT have to start this job just yet.: ( The nanny who usually wathces our child if I have to work is working for someone else so hubby and I spent this weekend scrambling to find someone else who we hope is just as patient, pleasant and competent. i was praying that we would not find anyone. We plan to let my mum watch our duahgter this coming week and have this new lady come in for 1 hr in the evening after work to see how she and our daughter interact cus we do not want to trust our child with ANY OLD PERSON, then if she is ok she starts work full time the following week.RATS! All this makes me soooooo sick that I have to leave my child AGAIN to work BUT other mothers have done it, but I hate it. On a good note, me working would be good so that I could help pay some of the bills and we could have enough money to keep us afloat till hubby is paid at month end. Everyone feels I should take job UGhhhhh....Any thing to say???

    It seems that our economy is based on two people per household working to in order to have a reasonable amount of income.
    I think it's a good thing if moms could be at home until kids start school because I think they will do better in school.
    Just try to spend some time with her, at least an hour each day, playing, reading stories, making things, and she will be alright.
    On the other hand, child experts say that children need some time every day to play alone in order to develop their imagination and skills.

    • Sometimes I wonder what is the point of motherhood for working moms if the mom is out working all day???
