It is not physically addictive but it can be psychologically addictive. When something is physically addictive your body goes through withdrawals when you stop taking it. Think cigarettes or cocaine. Psychological addiction occurs if your unconscious mind starts to believe that you can't sleep unless you take a pill then you will experience insomnia if you stop taking the pill.
