Help answer this question below.

My bf's mother informed me that my bf wouldnt like me talking to or being around an old friend i grew up with

is this a controle issue? My bf's mother didnt like it one bit when i ran into an old male friend of mine that i grew up with, we've never dated or anything, just been real good friends, this happends any time im around other men or male friends, what does this sound like to you guys? need some advise and opinions please.

I agree with above. The mom is putting her nose where it doesn't belong. If bf has a problem HE can come to you. You are under no obligation to discuss your relationship with his mom.
