Rude Bear Ready for Winter

Question

Help answer this question below.

I strongly believe AB should discourage people from asking animal/veterinarian/medical questions. A consensus of well meaning folks is no substitute for trained medical advice, and while they're waiting for an answer, the animal suffers. Do you Agree?

no, any help is better then nothing, it's easy for some to say "go to the doctor/vet/etc" but that isn't always possible.
for example, this woman with severe pain from injury induced nerve damage is very poor, living on ssi and her only medical aid is caresource.
she needs to see a neurologist, her primary care physician wanted to refer her to one, but on searching, every neurologist in town says either "we don't take caresource" or "we're not accepting new patients"
so she's stuck taking vicodin and suffering because no one will help her.
