I have on several occasions seen the space station overhead after sunset... maybe before sunrise. I can't prove it was the ISS, but I looked at the website that says where it will be in the sky and what I saw matched the time, location, direction, duration in the table. It was much brighter than most things I see crossing the darkened sky supporting the conclusion that it was much bigger than most visible satellites.

      http://spaceweather.com/flybys/

It says put in the zip and let her rip.

This friend said it is steadily emitting.
