    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

To operate a dump truck or any other large construction equipment in the state of Kentucky the operator must have a Commercial Driver's License, or CDL issued by the Kentucky Department of Transportation. A Class-A CDL may be all that is needed to drive a dump truck.
